Marriage Preparation

The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of their whole life. It is given by God for the good of the spouses, for the building up of the Church and for the procreation and education of offspring. The covenant of marriage has been raised by Christ to the dignity of a Sacrament. Before a wedding date can be set, the couple are required to meet with the Parish Priest 6 months in advance.

A marriage preparation course also must be completed before the wedding can be celebrated. If this is the first marriage for both people and you wish to participate in the St. Michael's Marriage Preparation course, please complete the application form and submit to the office. The fee for the preparation course is $125.00 and is to be paid BEFORE the course. Space in the course is limited. Payment can be made via the DONATE page as a one time payment or at the parish office by cheque or cash.

Registration for the Prepation Weekend for 2017 is CLOSED. Please watch for the dates for the 2018 Preparation Weeeknd.
